Heavy Items First

When you are loading one of our dumpsters, make sure that the heavy items do in first. Doing this will make sure that the dumpster isn’t top-heavy. A top-heavy dumpster becomes unstable when we come and pick it up. Things such as furniture and large items should always go in first.

Sort Items

To save you time and money, make sure that you sort out everything that you will be keeping and throwing away. If you choose to do all this on the day of the dumpster arrival, it may become quite hectic. If you aren’t sure about throwing an item away, contact us, and we will let you know.

Safety First

Proper gloves and safety googles are key. Moving junk has its own risks. From sharp edges to dust and debris. Making sure you have the right safety equipment for the job will ensure a safe experience. Open toes shoes are a no-no as well. When you are lifting heavy items, make sure you follow proper lifting procedures. Lift with your legs, not your back!

Missouri is always looking for donations. If you think something can be reused by another family, choose to donate it. You can always use Facebook Market Place or Craigslist and list these items for free. This will also help reduce the amount that you need to place into our dumpsters.
